Nearest Town with Accommodations: Hot Springs
Location: Out of Hot Springs take Hwy. 7 north for about 18 miles. In Jessieville continue on Hwy. 7 north for about 9 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 11 for about 2 miles then turn right onto Forest Road 771 look for the Decker Mountain Overlook parking area. This is also the same location for Bear Creek.
Type: Forest Road / loop.
Distance: About 9 miles.
Summary: This trail is made up of mostly Forest Service Roads. The roads are usually in good shape so it makes for a pretty nice ride. There are no technical areas out here and the climbing is pretty gentle. There are plenty of scenic views to be had. This would make for a pretty good ride if you are wanting to just get away from the population and have a nice easy, casual ride.
Recommended Route: Parking is available at the trailhead on Forest Service Road 11 and at Deckard Mountain Vista. Go either direction on the route, its all about the same.
When to ride: Any time is good on this route but the fall is especially pleasant.
Rating: This route is good for anybody. If you have a family and just want to get out on your bikes together on a nice country road this route will do nicely. For people seeking a little more exciting ride this route might be a little boring.
