We spent the past weekend in Bentonville checking out some of the local trails in Northwest Arkansas. We left Mena on a foggy, drizzling Saturday morning and arrived in Bentonville with sunshine and perfect temps. The first trail we hit was Hidden Diversity and all though we had done this trail in the past we did not have any video of it, this time we came prepared. The trail was in great shape and we got to ride all three loops which made for an even better day. This has got to be one of the best laid out trails in the area, most of the climbs are subtle and the entire trail seems to just flow with the terrain.

Sunday morning we woke up to drizzle, clouds and cold, what a complete turnaround from yesterday but we didn't let that dampen our spirits, we had trails to ride so we headed out to Slaughter Pen. This is the first time we had a chance to actually ride these trails. We had been out there once before just to kind of scope the place out but did not have the time to do any ridding. The trail is probably one of the more technical trails in the area and with the ground being a little damp from the drizzle it made it even that much more technical. The most disappointing part about this ride was that we did not get a chance to get all the loops in. We will be posting more information about this trail on the website soon. After Slaughter Pen we headed over to Devils Den and did a quick lap on Fossil Flats and got some video for this trail as well. All in all it was a great weekend for Mountain Biking, got to ride some new trails, see some new sights, and meet some new people. We are also working on updating all our videos for the trails so check back often as we go through this process.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
