The Trail
Nearest Town with Accommodations: Russellville
Location: From Russellville take Hwy. 64 west toward London. After crossing Lake Dardanelle look to your right for a little store named Sweet Spot. The trail is directly behind the store.
Type: Double track / loops.
Distance: About 5 miles doing all loops.
Summary: I have only ridden this trail one time and was not really impressed with it maybe it was the fact that I had to share the trail with a bunch of motorcycles and ATV's. I must admit all the motor heads I met were very courteous and always slowed down when they seen me and a few of them even stopped to chat awhile. The trail itself is not to bad as far as a motorcycle trail goes. It had some nice little whoopee doo's and such. There was nothing really technical about the trail itself and I didn't find it all that challenging. There were a few spots that were really muddy and one of the motor cross guys was telling me that this place can really get muddy right after a rain and some places on the trail seemed like they would hold water for some time. I don't know if anyone takes care of the trail but it could use a little work here and there. If your in the Russellville area and you don't mind sharing the trail with motorcycles then you might like this trail. I personally would head for Old Post Road Park trail instead.
Recommended Route: Starting from the store we headed clockwise around the trail.
When to ride: I am not sure on this one but when we went out there it was in summer and it was ok then.
Rating: The trail is not to hard and I think all would do well out here, I don't think I would bring a novice rider out here just because of the motorcycles.
